We believe that God has gifted every single person in the congregation to serve others in some way, shape, or form. In the regular rhythms of church life, this serving can take many forms. Maybe you can lead a Community Group. Maybe you can play the violin. Maybe you can help teach the gospel to our congregation's children. Maybe you make amazing blueberry muffins. Regardless of how you are gifted, there are numerous ways to serve.
Here are just a few ways you can serve:
Children are a vital and growing part of our congregation. You can help care for them by regularly serving in the nursery or toddler classes during worship, or by helping lead our older kids classes during the Christian Formation Hour. For more information, see Grace Kids.
Lead a Community Group or host one where you live. For more information, email Jamie Afshari.
Members and regular attendees serve as ushers or readers each Sunday. For more information, email office@graceseattle.org.
Exercise your musical or sound technician gifts as part of our worship services. To serve, email Jess Alldredge.
We serve Grace community members with food delivery in case of short-term needs, such as injuries, illnesses, and new children. Volunteers are added to an email list and asked to serve as they are able when needs arise. Currently additional volunteers are needed to help serve the community in this practical way. Please contact Sara Billups if you are interested or have any questions.
