Serve

There are many ways to serve within the Grace Seattle community, as well as reaching out to the city of Seattle through Serving the City and across the globe through Serving the World.

Some opportunities within Grace:

Help kids color, and recycle! The kids in the Grace nursery would like to color on your gently used office paper, letter or legal size, that's blank on at least one side. Please bring your donations to the church nursery on Sundays. Email Amy Grooms or Tarah Voss.

Children's Ministries: Be part of a regular Nursery rotation to care for infants and toddlers during our worship services, or work with Children's Education on Sunday mornings as a teacher or an assistant. We especially need teachers for kids ages 2-3, 4-5, and Kindergarten-6th grade (curricula is provided; Grace membership is a requirement to teach). Email Amy Grooms or Tarah Voss.

Meals Ministry: Prepare, pick up, and/or deliver meals to those in transition (baby, illness, move, etc.). Email Angela Wheeless.

Community Groups: Lead a Community Group or host one in your home. Email Michael Subracko.

Our Sunday Volunteer Schedule for the quarter is available for download here. Members and regular attendees serve as ushers, liturgists, lectors, and communion servers each Sunday. Email Lee Grooms to be added to the next schedule.

Music: Exercise your musical gifts as part of the Grace Seattle Experimental Orchestra, or perform as a musical guest at our monthly acoustic night at the Hopvine Pub. Email Phil Peterson.
